Local clubs hold December meetings and gatherings
Rachel Circle met at Christ Lutheran Church for a December session with nine members present and a gift exchange led by Mrs Wayne Childress. The Altar Society hosted Christmas events at MPC Hospital with visitors including Mr and Mrs Henry Bosler and Mrs Adeline Overman. Alvord Woman's Club held a Star of Bethlehem program at the town hall followed by a Christmas luncheon. Harold Minebeck and Leonard Basie topped progressives at a birthday party event. Herman Reit Jr of California visits Valley Manor as relatives gather nearby.
