Rotary talk highlights Rock Valley police communication woes
Iowa Patrolman Jonker of Orange City told Rock Valley Rotarians the town has among the worst police communications in the region. He cited 14 years with the patrol, teenage driver issues, and delays when teenagers activated a smoke device last Sunday night, revealing critical gaps in intercity radio links. The talk underscored the need for improved town and area communications.
