Rock Valley Sets August 30 Vote On Safety Complex
Voters will decide on Thursday August 30 whether to approve a safety complex at the Main and Thirteenth streets intersection. Polls open 7 AM to 8 PM at the old town hall. The project would include a modern fire station for four firefighting vehicles a police station with a patrol car and a communications center plus space for an ambulance and rescue vehicle public restrooms meeting rooms and voting areas. Community School Sets August Pre Registration For Elementary
The Rock Valley Community School plans pre registration for elementary students on August 17 and 20 from 8 30 to 3 30 at the Elementary Center. Principal Jenny Starkweather says pre registration will speed class start on August 27 and reduce cash handling. Parents may pick up calendars athletic schedules bus routes rosters handbooks and more.
