Hudson Warned About Polluting Sioux River With Raw Sewage
Hudson faces an EPA 180 day notice for violating water quality standards risking raw sewage dumping into the Big Sioux River. Hope Haven figures gain national recognition for rehabilitating the handicapped and will present the concept at the Ohio State Rehabilitation Convention in Cincinnati. Ben Voetberg Killed In Ditch Cave In Rock Valley
Rock Valley plumber Ben Voetberg died Tuesday afternoon when a sewer ditch caved in at a new housing addition. The accident occurred about 3 16 p m Voetberg was alone in the ditch when the collapse happened. Fire department and a doctor arrived but Voetberg was pronounced dead at the scene. He is survived by his widow and three sons, with a daughter also listed as living at home.
