Wives Held the Stock in Davenport Tragedy

Turtle Held By Express Company After Refusal
A 70 pound salt water turtle, over two feet across and nearly three feet long with barnacled shell, is held at the local express office after consignees refused to accept it. Shipped to Rock Island from Baltimore, the animal was sent to a Rock Island hotel and is valued at about ten dollars.
