Chicago June 12 The Augustana synod Swedish Lutheran churches began its 49th annual gathering with 200 delegates from seven conferences at Trinity Swedish Lutheran church Lake View. Rev Eric Novelius of Vasa Minnesota preached the synodical sermon. he has led the church in America for over 50 years and is the president in his 17th year.
