Pittsburg Pa Jan 1 a large woman a big bundle a baby and a nickel led to the abandonment of the pay as you enter plan by the Pittsburg street car company. Mrs Mary Myers attempted to board with the baby and bundle the fare bitten trod into her teeth the nickel swallowed and recovered by a physician. A second woman with a baby and bundle refused to pay unless the baby was held. Conductor faced rude talk and threats of resignations while the company kept its route open.
