Hook of Holland Feb 22 Ten persons who slept on the after part of the Berlin wreck have been saved amid furious sun and snow. Rescue attempts failed as lifeboats and tugs struggled, hulls, seas and cold hindered access. several survivors reported clinging to the stem while others were lost and the rescue efforts continued under Captain Jatt. A second vessel went ashore on Autland’s west coast. crews faced gale and no lifeboat could be sent.
