Leg Amputated After Crossing Collision At Forty sixth Street
Ed Juedus of Moline formerly an upholsterer at L S McCabe Co sustained a serious injury yesterday afternoon around 6 o clock. He was struck by a Burlington train at the Forty sixth street crossing and his left leg was crushed requiring amputation between the ankle and knee. He was taken to Moline city hospital after ambulance arrival and could not explain the accident. Juedus had been recently employed in Davenport and was staying with his brother on Second Street and Railroad Avenue.
