Roblin Council to consider by law closing road area

Public notice announces a 7:30 p.m. meeting on October Lith 1962 in Roblin to hear objections as the Town may pass a by law to close and vest in Roblin a portion of the original Dominion Government road allowance between parts of sections 5 and 4 in township 26 range 28 west. The notice states the plan shows a 33 foot easterly extension and a 138.7 foot north leg and invites landowners prejudicially affected to be heard.

H Mobberley Wins Hill and Trophy At Golf Tourney

H Mobberley of Dauphin won the Hill and Trophy after a playoff in the first Annual Men’s Open at Roblin Golf and Country Club. Ninety eight golfers from Dauphin, Swan River, Kamsack, Gilbert Plains and others competed, with Ed Cherneski scoring a Hole-In-One on No. 5 and earning a special trophy.
