Miss M Shura Entertains At Local MTS Meeting
The Roblin Local of the Mani toba Teachers Society met on Tuesday September 25 at Roblin Elementary School with 31 teachers present. New teachers were welcomed by President Brignoly and introduced. The treasury report covered 1961 62, and the scholarship fund was set at 40 dollars to be awarded at October commemcement exercises. Field Day held June 1 1962 at Roblin Intermediate was deemed a success and may be repeated. A panel discussed topics for future meetings moderated by Brian Sim with participants from Makaroff San Clara Roblin Collegiate and Beattie. Miss M Shura performed an impersonation of an ideal teacher to amusement. A new executive for 1962 63 was elected: President William Nowosad Vice President Beattie Secretary-Treasurer Miss Davidson Public Relations Brian Sim. An October meeting was announced and lunch followed.
