Merridale reports threshing progress with two crops from one field by Proskie and Sons. Visitors include Pilot Officer T Sanders Mrs Sanders and Chas Cockerill of Dauphin. Divine service led by Rev Sarenchuk and a song service by Mrs A J Macaulay. Sunday school reopenings noted with Miss A Prior Miss O Rankin and Mr W Low guiding classes. Mrs Glen Finch, Marion and Melville visit Dauphin with Mrs Donald Williamson and Mrs Bert Hickin.

Private Annie Lillie Dayson of Roblin Manitoba joined twenty C W A C members departing Winnipeg on September 14 for Vermilion Alberta for four weeks of basic training. She is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Dayson of Roblin and enlisted in Winnipeg on September 8.
