Dr B S O Gabs faces a letter from a Roblin reader urging restraint in commentary about the Veterans Banquet and Smoker set for November to mark the Armistice signing. The Roblin Womens Institute met at Mrs F Law yer s home with John Inglis and Mrs Hunt present. Provincial advisory board member Mrs Inglis spoke on beekeeping and answered many questions. A solo by Mrs Harvey followed. The group set November 16 for the Bazaar and invited donations to be sent to conveners for various circles.

Makarofy Miss Clara Crane visited friends at Roblin over the weekend. The Ladies Aid Society will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday November 4 at Mrs G Harvey’s home. Rev WL Rayner to conduct Harvest Festival service Sunday evening November 2 at 7:90. A Friday concert and dance by the WLI drew a good crowd. The Makaroff Ladies Aid plans a Fowl Supper and Concert on Friday November 7 in the hall with supper at 5:80.
