District Representative Honored At Auxiliary Dinner Meeting
The Legion Auxiliary No. 24 met at Roblin Club Rooms on October 19 with guest Mrs. Clapper District Representative. About 32 locals, 10 Grandview, 11 San Clara members, Past District Representative Mrs. Henry, and Alternate District Rep Mrs. Amy Adam attended. Plans were made to sell poppies, host poppy tea, canvass for blood donors, and serve dinner on November 11. Mrs. Clapper gave a short informative talk. Mrs. Souter led entertainment with Grade 3 chorus and dust and flute solos. A turkey dinner followed.

Intermountain Information reports the Roblin division plans to buy bulk gasoline and install a 30 position key toll pump and 2000 gallon tank to supply buses. Frank Curle became Vice President, George and Mrs. De La Mare named Entertainment and Social Convenors, Mrs. Alexander secretary treasurer. Discussion on meeting frequency led to continuing twice monthly with 1st Thursday and 3rd Wednesday. Gratitude expressed to Masonic Lodge for hall, District Recreation Committee for summer bus tour, and Catholic Church Ladies for lunch. Whist prizes went to Mr. and Mrs. Curle. consolation prizes to Mrs. Cranwell and Mr. Gray.
