Beginning with our last issue our readers will have noticed that we have changed the style and size of our paper. We have been using Ready Print supplied by a Syndicate. The system increases waste, doubles express, and uses more padding. We will serve the community efficiently and may publish home spun six page issues if business warrants.
The Independent of Grimsby Ontario enters its 40th year as a respected home grown print paper in the East. A note mentions J T Howell sending regards from Roblin Manitoba where a wheat county story circulated. The Roblin Review reprinted the Independent article, highlighting local ties and community cheer.
