Several travel and social items, including a Masonic lodge visit and rural meetings, fill space with various names and places.
A CCF public meeting is set for Friday October 15 at 8 p m in the school hall. Tummel W A will serve a Few Supper on October 21 at Tummel hall. The Roblin Manitoba Poultry Pool Local annual meeting via the Egg Station is Saturday October 23 at 8 p m with full attendance requested. Ward Bros auction sale at Deepdale postponed to October 28 and a Halloween dance in Roblin on Friday October 29.
C. T. Argent named as the official salesman for Deepdale to speed the Victory Drive by promoting the 5th Victory Loan War Bond sales.
Grand Narrows sees Miss Mildred Smith of Winnipeg visiting the district. Mrs. Norman Dixon returns home after a two month city stay. Mr. Lucas and family of Kamsack celebrate Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Murray. Dell and Lyall McConnell of Brandon visit master farmer W Wilson. Miss Georgina Middleton of Dauphin spends Thanksgiving with her parents at Happy Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Linderbeck host C Burrell and family visiting from Happy Lake.
