William Wallace Silverwood pioneer buried in Silverwood
Funeral services for William Wallace Silverwood were held September 30 at the United Church in Silverwood after his death September 28 in Roblin hospital at age 80. He was born in Hearland Centre Ontario, married in Winnipeg in 1898, moved to Silverwood in 1904, and is survived by his wife, three sons Fred James and John in Silverwood, three daughters Gladys Dorothy and Tina all in Silverwood, 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, one brother Robert in Vancouver. The service was led by Rev J Carlyle Parker of Roblin. pallbearers were his three sons and three sons-in-law. interment in Silverwood cemetery.
