Mr Neith Alexander was again nominated to contest the Roblin riding for the Conservative Party. Alexander spoke after the unanimous nomination as the Hon. George Hutton, Minister of Agriculture, addressed the meeting.

The Roblin Town Council held its regular meeting on Thursday with Mayor F A Newton and councillors in attendance. Accounts totaling 3 267 37 for General Water and Sewer and Construction were approved. A December 18 Court of Revision for Real Estate was set and a building project for an lift station was discussed with engineers Haddin Davis and Brown. Grants applications for Windsor Avenue and Sixth Avenue were requested from Public Works. By Law 553 to close part of a Dominion road was to be passed. Water and sewer digging will be charged at 1 15 per foot. Building permit for Walter Livingstone approved. Meeting adjourned with next session December 13 at 8 p m.
