The Evening Guild met Tuesday November 22 at Mrs N Hargreaves home with President N Cross presiding. Fifteen members and four visitors attended. Reports included Christmas parcel deliveries to Neepawa and the adopted child. Plans for the December Bazaar and choir gowns were discussed. A motion approved paying half the cost of stainless steel cutlery for the W A. The next meeting will be December 13 in the church basement with visitors welcome.

J S Howden of the Manitoba Department of Agriculture and Conservation warns uncovered grain trucks spread weeds and waste grain. Tests show wind and speed greatly affect losses with 24 bushels of oats lost on a ten mile run into a breeze and over 17 bushels of wheat lost on an eight mile route into stronger wind. Flax is even more prone to blow off. The author notes two losses from uncovered loads: cash from lost grain and weed-control costs later.
