Deductions of 8 percent from gross weight cover shrinkage during drying as tests continue to justify possible changes. Farmers shipping under contract will get straight grade prices minus shrinkage, with southeastern and northern Saskatchewan most affected.
Premier Bracken states the government will preserve the borrower lender relationship from Rural Credit Societies and will bring necessary legislation at the approaching session. The government must ensure repayment by borrowers while avoiding undue pressure, aiming to prevent defaults due to technical defects.

The Roblin community lines up events and meetings from Nov 15 to Nov 24 1926. Concerts by Madame Simons L.O.L.A Ladies Aid and a Goose Lake Consolidated S.D. ratepayers gathering are scheduled. Farewell parties honor departing residents including Mr and Mrs Shewfelt and Mrs H S McFadden while W J held afternoon teas for leaving members.
Mr Craven Munro visited his brother Edward briefly last week. Mr and Mrs Lindsay plan to make their home here. Mr Porter Elliott of Winnipeg toured Capt Donald Sinclair on Tuesday. Mr A J Griffith returned to Winnipeg after a short stay. A Christmas Gift Bazaar by All Saints Sr W A Davis Mall is set for Friday December 10 at 3 p.m. Several citizens attended a banquet at Silverwood community hall.
The Ladies Aid announce a fall fundraiser featuring a supper concert and bazaar on November 19. Admission 60 cents for adults and 25 cents for children over six. Supper at 6 o clock sharp. Everyone welcome for the community event.
Aakaroff United Chnr c invites all to the Annual Harvest Home Service Sunday at 7.80 p.m followed by a concert and vegetable sale Monday at men. Everyone welcome.
The Prince of Wales inaugurates the Maison Canadienne near Cite Universitaire in Paris. Built for Canadian students, the modern hostelry will mirror Oxford and Cambridge in spirit with 45 furnished rooms each with bath, a large Salle de Reunion, and a grand main corridor signaling comfort and style. Funding includes a public subscription totaling 250,000 dollars with contributions from EB. W. Beatty.
The Winnipeg minister Rev J S Watson B A will speak at each service around the field next Sunday. Anglican services set for Sunday November 21st in Orange Hall at 11 am and 7 pm with Memorial Service for fallen comrades. All welcome.
