The Interfaith Remembrance Day Service in Roblin Memorial Hall on November 11 featured advance of colours, O Canada, and prayers by Father Don Lukie and Rev. John Oldham. Wreaths were laid at the Cenotaph by Legion members and others. Alfred A. Dixon was honored at a banquet that afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Allanson and Murray visited Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Moore of Norgate and Mrs. A. Ackerman of Riding Mountain on Sunday. Ilona Truffyn of Winnipeg visited her parental home, the Wm. Truffyns, over the weekend.
The Roblin Ladies Evening Curling Club met October 30 in the Town office to set a slate of officers led by Rev. Murray as Past President and Mavis Ready as President. They noted men’s club fees raise curling costs and approved a split season with skips collecting rink fees. A November 9 whist social at Lil Edel’s hosted by several members crowned winners Ed Mohr, Albert Orke, Ladie Staple, and Bey Murray.

A two car head on collision Sunday afternoon near Roblin on the Jackfish Lake road sent seven people to hospital. Involved were Len Poyser and Gary Rice driving separate vehicles. passengers Garnet Dixon Joyce Rice Corine Klyne Rudolph Cockerill and Lawrence Poyser. Dixon released the same day. Rice Len Poyser and Lawrence Poyser released next day. Joyce Rice Corine Klyne and Rudolph Cockerill remained in satisfactory condition. Rice car totaled. Poyser car heavily damaged.
