Quiet Halloween Night in Roblin Draws Community Help
RCMP Sgt. Bob Brakefield-Moore reports a quiet Hallowe en in Roblin with volunteers patrolling streets to prevent vandalism and protect trick or treaters. One car was found jacked with wheels removed while some homes saw large crowds. The Halloween teen dance at Memorial Hall attracted about 300 students. prizes and a buffet were donated by local businesses for charity benefiting Goose Lake High’s 1990 graduating class. A pre teen dance at Holy Redeemer parish hall and a youth dance at Valley River Indian Reserve on the 30th also drew crowds.
