Frank Campbell Elected President Of Roblin Golf And Country Club
The Roblin Golf And Country Club held its April 30 meeting at the club house. Frank Campbell was elected president with Morgan Kelso as vice president and M. Rempel as secretary treasurer. Members approved a $5 annual dues increase and set June 18 and September 17 dates for the Spring and Fall tournaments. Green fees stay at $1.00 with member credits toward new memberships and a plan to hire a caretaker.

Hospital Interior Painting Tenders Considered
Rob Yin District Hospital Board met to review finance payments totaling 5 452 55 and 790 for depreciation. They discussed painting program for the hospital including doors and jams and ordered parking signs for doctors and ambulance spaces. The Knights of Columbus stage a Double Tournament Fastball and Horseshoes on Sunday July 9 with cash prizes and trophies, proceeds aiding the Roblin Centennial project. On July 23 the Duck Mountain Game and Fish sponsors a Fish Derby at multiple lakes with trophies for largest fish, proceeds backing Roblin and District Centennial project.

Funeral services were held at St Claire Roman Catholic Church in San Clara Nan for Mrs Helen Stinson age 66 of Winnipeg who died May 13 1967 at Geneva Hospital. The Roblin Congregation returned from a semi annual convention in Dauphin Manitoba attended by about 560 people. A film titled God Cannot Lie was shown on May 14 with three symbolizing dedication. Volunteers provided three hot meals daily and organized the assembly for attendees.

The Ukrainian Catholic Women's League of Roblin held a May 9 meeting with 28 attendees to bless and dedicate the new parish hall kitchen completed since October 1965.
