Journey with a Father-in-Law Through Suffering and Faith
A personal reflection compares a grandson in law’s father to Christ in Gethsemane and Resurrection. It recalls September 2000 by pass heart surgery, a month of hope and despair, and final death after pneumonia and ventilator support. The writer recalls watching, praying, and singing hymns as the soul departed for heaven.
