Mrs M Maguire of Togo entertained friends from the district at a five hundred drive Friday night.
The Makaroff WI met at Mrs Crane's home with Mrs Arndance presiding. A general knowledge contest awarded first prize to Mrs Large and second to Mrs Hugge. A Cromarty Women's Institute letter offering help for the May convention at Makaroff was read. the district secretary to thank Cromarty and accept the offer. Members say such cooperation boosts convention success.
The Lord Strathcona Shield now hangs in Grandview School hall. J N Belton and his pupils are credited with winning the prize for general efficiency, outdoor activities, and strong teacher pupil collaboration. The Grandview victory reflects their cooperative effort and classroom leadership.
