The rink committee gratefully acknowledges donations for shingles toward the Roblin Skating Arena from Mrs Henlen Laurie and others totaling $49.80 so far. A start has been made and donations can be given to F. A. Newton or rink committee members. The arena booth has raised over $600 volunteering. A. MacKay of Brandon won last week’s draw.

Education Week Observed At Togo Togo School
Education Week observance began with a pee wee phonspiel on Monday March 1 and featured the Roger White rink as grand challenge winner and Paul ette Leis rink as second event winner. Visitors Day on March 8 drew 50 parents to see student work in rooms 2 and 3, with displays of penmanship art crafts and hobbies. Room 3 read essays on lung pollution and life without electricity, showcasing pop art and woodwork while Room 2 presented foam tray and straw shopping cart articles. The Primary room displayed twenty six teflon frying pans with bacon and eggs as a luncheon highlight.

Bantams Hold Second in Snake Creek Hockey Playoffs
The Snake Creek League wrap saw Bantams stay in second as Roblin, Foxwarren, Angusville and Winnipegosis squads battled into playoffs. Roblin beat Angusville 9 4 while Roblin and Foxwarren tied 33. Roblin also beat the Mustangs and Ken Holovach suffered a knee injury. The Mustangs defeated Winnipegosis 12 6 and Grandview 53 in a Sunday tourney, with Pomedli hat trick and Buick brace leading scoring.

Collegiate Capers At Amaranth Weekend
