Local and General keep March 30 open for the Manitoba Horse dance. F Y Newton M L A left for Winnipeg to attend Manitoba Legislature which opened Monday. Miss L Cross left for Winnipeg this week to enter the Children’s Hospital to train for a nurse. The WA LS will meet at the home of Mrs Geo Scott on Tuesday at 3 pm. Come and bring 4 new members. The local rink that attended Dauphin spiel last week returned Saturday after four days of strenuous curling. They won a third prize in one of the competitions. The annual dance of the local Legion branch drew a capacity crowd from various parts of the district with red white and blue decorations and the orchestra playing the latest dance hits.
