Peter Funk Dies After Lingering Illness
Peter Funk aged 51 died at his home on Monday June 7 after a lingering illness. He was born in Rosenfield Manitoba and lived in the Shell River municipality for 24 years. Funeral service set for Friday June 11 at 1 30 p m at the United Church with interment at Roblin cemetery. Mrs Glen Finch and family are visiting Grand Narrows with Mr and Mrs J H Dixon.

WV Bundles Shipments From June Meeting Include 93 Articles
A WV Bundles shipment sent from the June 4 weekly sewing meeting includes 93 garments such as dresses coats suits sweaters and more prepared since the April 2 prior shipment.
