Roblin will gain a modern brick theatre between the Royal Bank and Roblin Trading Co. on Main Street. Built 80 by 26 feet with circular floor for clear sightlines and air conditioned comfort, the venue will host Egg Pool in the basement and be managed by Mr. Hart, who led the old Roblin theatre. Two January fires delayed work but the project now proceeds to meet local demand.

Mr R McBride led a successful Red Cross picnic at Madge Lake on Thursday July 15 raising 70 dollars for the organization. The Czech Band of 16 from Minitonas entertained a large crowd while Kamsack and Roblin played baseball with Roblin winning 3-2 after 11 innings and softball was washed out by rain.
