Mrs Jas McEwen left for Winnipeg on Monday night’s Express. Mr RK J. M. Parker shipped a car load of stock to Winnipeg Saturday. Mrs W Beattie of Makaroff spent the week end in town as guest of Mrs R. C. Low. Mrs Wm Thompson visited with Mrs Dagg of Makaroff for several days. Mr James Find later of Saskatoon and Denholm Sask. visited town this week. Mr G Craig Purity Flour King buying dry Tamarac cord wood for Winnipeg market. Mrs Kirton entertained ladies in town honoring her mother Mrs Storry whose birthday fell on that date. A play, supper and dance were held in Davis hall Friday evening under the Ladies Aid United church. The Cinderella shots and other acts featured Mrs H Brown, Mrs Paiment, Mrs Me4a, Mim Curle, Miss C Bley Velma and Ferny Enid Abercrombie in a white georgette lace gown.
