Obituaries for Helena Wasylenchuk and Wasyl Shulhan

Funeral services were held in Shortdale for Helena Wasylenchuk aged 97, with rites in Roblin and interment at the Parish cemetery. Surviving children include John of Dublin and Mike of Bield, plus 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also noted is Wasyl Shulhan of Roblin, aged 21, buried at the Parish cemetery after a short illness, survived by wife Tekla and three sons Peter Sam and Walter and four daughters Stella Ann Mary and Nettie. Shulhan had worked for the CPR before farming in Merridale and Roblin.
