Mr N S King optometrist of Winnipeg will be in Roblin Monday May 1st appointments can be made at Mr Heming's. The death of John Angus Carlson age 92 pioneer resident of Roblin district occurred Thursday April 20th. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at Roblin United Church conducted by Rev Matchet and Rev Lloyd. Interment followed at Roblin cemetery. Surviving: Mrs Petit Roblin, Mrs Jorgeson, Calfornia, Oscar, Carl and Alfred Carlson of Roblin.

Roblin Cow Testing Association reports solid season gains
The Roblin Cow Testing Association completed another season with 14 members testing 82 cows, 22 of which had eight months or more of records. Average milk yield for eight month records was 341 pounds with 4.0 percent butterfat and 213.8 pounds butterfat. Four cows exceeded 300 pounds butterfat. The association plans a third season and invites nonmembers to join, with supplies and record books provided, and regional farmers welcomed to send samples and records to Roblin. The Dairy Promoter will visit Roblin May 4 and 5 for reorganization and testing purposes.
