Paul C. Duncan, longtime Roanoke Rapids resident and former manager of Duncans Inn, is jailed in Raleigh on a warrant accusing him of embezzling about five thousand dollars from Duncan's, Inc. An audit by A P McPherson and V C Matthews preceded the charge, with a preliminary Roanoke Rapids hearing set for Monday before Recorder A L Clark.
