Textile Work Assignment Board clears stretch-out claims
The Cotton Textile Work Assignment Board issued a unanimous report finding the majority of textile employers did not engage in widespread stretch-out practices, though it noted a few cases. It recommended a permanent board to handle isolated instances and future cases, opposing a fixed machine load formula and urging individual review.
