Two Halifax county banks opened for business this morning on an unrestricted basis handling deposits and checks as usual. The Citizens Bank & Trust Co. of this city and the Bank of Enfield reported deposits far exceeding withdrawals and said affairs were above par when they closed, per their cashiers.
