Mrs Sallie Waters Radcliffe Dies After Illness
Mrs Sallie Waters Radcliffe, wife of Dan M Radcliffe, died at her Rosemary home after pneumonia followed influenza. Survived by six children. She and family moved from Hyde County about a year ago. Funeral held at her Hyde County home Sunday afternoon. She was a Christian Church member.

South Rosemary School Reopens After Influenza Closure
Influenza kept South Rosemary School closed for a week and it reopened Wednesday morning. Several local residents are ill or recovering from influenza and pneumonia. Mrs. Joe Neal died of pneumonia following influenza on March 3rd and was buried Thursday at home. Mrs. Reyner moved to the area from Rocky Mount and died Feb 25 after influenza. her husband is recovering from pneumonia. The Evans family and others have influenza but are recovering. wedding bells are anticipated soon in South Rosemary.
