Halifax County Liquor Vote Cleared by Superior Court Ruling
The Halifax County voters will be allowed to vote on the county liquor control system next Saturday after Superior Court Judge W A Devin dissolved a prior restraining order. The judge did not rule on the law’s constitutionality, but allowed the election to proceed and stated future motions could address misallocation of public funds.
