New Bottling Plant to Open in Roanoke Rapids
A Dr. Pepper bottling plant will begin operating in Roanoke Rapids around July 10. Owned by R. S. Hines formerly of Kinston, the plant will bottle Dr. Pepper and possibly other drinks later. It will serve within a forty mile radius, employ about five people, and run two trucks to start.
