Roanoke Rapids Scouts Plan Paper Drive and Camp Whetstone Opening
Local troops prepare for a scrap paper drive amid truck and curb collection constraints with plans to include three to four units. Camp Whetstone is set to open within two weeks, with rules to camp only with a scout leader. The district also schedules a June Court of Honor at First Methodist Church and emphasizes a week of camping for every scout.
