Rosemary Library Association Election Date Sets Meeting

The Rosemary Reading Room and Library Association will hold its regular annual meeting on Tuesday night to elect officers and outline plans for the coming year. Members and any interested citizens are invited. admission is free and membership is $1 for the year. Halifax County Board of Health Elects New Leader

At the regular Halifax County Board of Health meeting Dr Green was unanimously re-elected County Superintendent of Health. The board includes W R Harvey J H Fenner Dr A S Harrison Dr J A Collins and Dr H J Clark. Mrs R H King of Thelma died after pneumonia following a recent operation at Roanoke Rapids Hospital. Interment was at the old family cemetery near Thelma. A roadster for sale and a note on marriage in Weldon last Sunday were mentioned among notices.
