Ernest Eubanks 21 of Roanoke Rapids North Carolina lies in critical condition at Memorial Hospital Richmond after a crash on Grove Avenue. He suffered a fractured spine and paralysis from the waist down. Norfolk Student Suffered Concussion In Crash Near Grove Avenue
Oliver 22 of Norfolk a junior sustained a brain concussion and bruises after a car veered off Grove Avenue and struck a tree as students returned to the university. Police said no serious injury and Oliver was treated and released. Dean Pinchbeck said parents were notified and relatives of Eubanks and Hallowell were expected today.
