Jax Sports Fans Witness Jacket Awards and New Teams
In a senior high auditorium event last Thursday Nineteen Jacket members received monograms or certificates from athletic director J. W. Talley. The group includes ends Harper Butler Rogers and others, with Captain Taylor and backs Hawley Rose Lassiter Kidd Butler Smith also recognized. Coach Edmondson leads indoor prep for the hardwood season, bringing last year’s 13-5 record and a newly formed Jacket Lassies under Coach Bledsoe. Rumors say boxing won’t join Jacket events this season.
