There will be a regular meeting of the High School Parent Teacher's Association Monday afternoon at four o'clock if the senior high school builds. Mr J W House of Wilson here short while. Pine Cone Troop Hikes to Weldon With Scouts and Water in Coconut Shells
On a Wednesday noon the Pine Cone Girl Scouts led by Lieutenant Byrd and Leader Josephine Hege left school at 11 40 AM for a Weldon hike. They rode a train, bought provisions, camped by a river hatchery, learned fire making and a semaphore code, and enjoyed wenies and eats before returning home around 6 20 PM with tired smiles and plans for another trip.

Prohibition raid nets liquor in Northampton homes
Deputy J E Wood and Sheriff H L Joyner obtained search warrants in Gaston township uncovering twelve gallons of corn liquor in N A Ingram and L W Rook homes and seven in the other. Both defendants were bound over to Northampton Superior Court in 3500 bonds each. Sheriff Joyner later arrested Jack Norwood for selling liquor and brought him before Justice W H Joyner.

Oak Troop Girl Scouts Form Regular Meeting
