Tony Frank Kemp Roanoke and Patterson Mills personnel director today received a telegram from E F Hickey of the New York World's Fair. The Roanoke Rapids City Textile League champion will play Hulls Collegians of New Haven Conn in a program of special events at the fair on August 25 at 4 00 PM. The league ends August 15 with Roanoke No 2 leading at 900. The four teams Roanoke No 2 Roanoke No 1 Patterson and Rosemary have competed strongly all summer and gain wider recognition for their softball.
