Woman dies after car hits gas pump and burns
In Roanoke Rapids two women died from severe burns after a car driven by Willie Lynch struck a gasoline pump and erupted in flames near a filling station. Pat tie Dowtin, 18, died hours after arrival at the hospital. Ella Lynch, 30, died days later. Willie Lynch faces involuntary manslaughter charges and a $1,000 bond for reckless driving.
