Street Improvement Bonds Sold Tuesday in Raleigh
The city sold 404000 dollars of bonds approved by voters in a January 8 special election for street improvements. The Equitable Securities Corporation and Trust Company of Georgia, via its Greensboro office, purchased the bonds. Interest rates: 3 percent on 49000, 2 3/4 percent on 158000, and 2 1/2 percent on 208000, with a 20 year repayment period.
