Home Economics Society notes and upcoming meeting
The Home Economics Society reports a successful four day millinery demonstration with over thirty hats made. A fall demonstration is anticipated. The next regular meeting will be held at the Rest Room on Wednesday the 24th.

Club Officers Elected for 1918 in District Schools
R M Tucker acting as organizer for branch clubs in the district has visited schools. Lothair School No 678 J W Seater chairs and Miss Maida Wall is secretary. Robinville School No 1392 Miss E E Wright chairs and Miss Verda Miller is secretary. Tucker plans to finish the work soon.

Rivers Cadet Corps Re Organizes For Year
A Fire Hall meeting on Tuesday reorganized the Rivers Cadets for the coming year. Officers elected will run weekly platoon drill and company drill under W. T. Clarke, instructor. Three platoon leaders, a sergeant, and a corporal were named for each platoon as the corps builds to full strength.

Town of Rivers Assessement Roll Adopted for 1918
The Rivers Council adopts the 1918 assessment roll with possible revisions. It will be open for public inspection at the Town Hall until April 17, 1918, and a Court of Revision will meet on April 24, 1918 at 8 p.m. to hear complaints filed by April 20, 1918.
