Band Blast fundraiser boosts splashpark drive in town
The Rivers Splashpark Committee held Band Blast events on August 20 in the 600 block of Second Avenue. The seven hour show was cut to five hours due to few attendees but raised over 3600 dollars through donations, flea market tables, raffles, and food sales. Performers included Tad Hoyak and Twelve Toes with karaoke by Stan Runions and Beth English, plus car displays and kids activities. Local businesses provided water, food, and entertainment support.
