End of Daylight Saving at Rivers Airbase in 1951
The Rivers area marks the end of daylight saving time at midnight on Sunday bringing Rivers and its airbase to the same time. The Rivers Ag Society cancels this year’s fall fair but plans a summer exhibition. A local school van shed is relocated and remodeled to shelter 10 teams of horses free of charge.
