Fisherman turns hobby into storefront in Rivers district
Ken Garth Ventnor, longtime fish enthusiast from Rivers, opened Tropical Fish and Pet Store at 526 Second Avenue in Rivers after renting from Jordana Goldstein. Eight month trial began with a grand opening on Oct 1, drawing shoppers and featuring fish, birds, and pet supplies. The store offers 18 aquariums, a 180 gallon main tank, and a variety of pet goods.
